Decided on a brand, but worried about the impact it’ll have on your wallet?
Worcester Bosch boilers are the number one choice for consumers as voted by Which (‘Best Buy’) for the fourth year running – so you’re probably onto a winner.
However, they also have a wide range of different boilers and prices, with something to suit just about any type of home – which can often be a little bit confusing.
In fact, it’s especially confusing when it comes to figuring out Worcester Bosch boiler prices and which type of boiler is best for your home (although several factors can affect the overall price you may have to pay – link to blog post).
So, today I’m going to help make the choice easier by going over Worcester Bosch gas combi boiler prices and types below:
Greenstar Compact
All of the boilers in Worcester Bosch’s Greenstar Compact range give a 24kw output to your central heating.
However, the output to the hot water (so the flow rate) ranges from a 24kw all the way up to a 36kw. In translation, this is the amount of hot water you can expect to get out of your taps.
The smallest output Greenstar Compact boiler is ideal for a one-bedroom flat, with a variety of sizes to suit different homes all the way up to a three-bedroom house complete with a bathroom and shower.
These boilers are particularly appealing as they are compact and can easily fit inside a kitchen cupboard or Edinburgh press cupboard.
Price: £2150 – £2600 (supplied and fitted)
Greenstar Classics
Moving on to the Classics range, all of Worcester Bosch’s Classic range supply a 30kw output to the central heating.
The output of hot water varies between 29kw, 34kw, 38kw and 42kw output to your hot water. This type of boiler is really ideal for larger households that have up to two bathrooms and a shower.
Price: £2300 – £3100 (supplied and fitted)
Greenstar Junior
The Greenstar Junior range is slightly cheaper than the Greenstar Compact range, and are also quite a bit bulkier – you won’t fit one of these in your kitchen cupboards. However, like the Compact range, they supply 24kw to your central heating.
The Junior range comes with a 24kw and a 28kw option as far as your hot water output goes,
The smallest output Greenstar Junior boiler is ideal for a one-bedroom flat, with a larger model to suit different homes up to a three-bedroom house complete with a bathroom and shower.
Price: £2100 – £2350 (supplied and fitted)
Greenstar Highflow
Finally, the most expensive combi boiler range is known as the Greenstar Highflow, which are roughly the size of a washing machine and can fit snugly under a kitchen unit.
The biggest benefit of a Greenstar Highflow is that it is a storage combi – a combi that also has an internal tank to heat water. This means they can supply the ultimate flow rate to your hot water taps, at up to 25 litres per minute (depending on the model you go for).
These boilers are ideal for large households, and can feed up to three showers and two baths.
Price: £2900 – £3200 (supplied and fitted)
Conclusion
So, hopefully now you’re a bit more clued up on Worcester Bosch boiler prices, and have a better idea of which type of combi boiler is better suited to your house.
