Introduction

The Worcester Bosch Greenstar CDi Classic System boiler range is ideal if you have a large home with typically more than three bedrooms. It’s the premium brand’s top-of-the-range system boiler, so you can expect the very best in performance and energy efficiency.

As a brand, Worcester Bosch has been manufacturing quality system boilers for many years now – I know, as I’ve been fitting them! Well-known for using only the highest quality components, it’s no surprise the brand has been voted Which ‘Best Buy’ for six years running.

Output and flow rate

First, let’s take a look at the central heating output you can expect to your heating from these boilers:

• Greenstar 30CDi Classic System: Provides a central heating and hot water output of 30kw
• Greenstar 35CDi Classic System: Provides a central heating and hot water output of 35kw

As the two boilers above are system boilers and will heat your existing or new hot water tank. You can expect the same flow rates as you’re accustomed to in your home – or alternatively, the CDi range can be fitted alongside an unvented cylinder for even more power to your taps.

Size and special features

These boilers are wall mounted and measure in at 760mm x 440mm x 360mm. They come with steel wall-mounting jig so that your pipe work can be fitted behind the boiler, and can be pre-piped before it’s even placed on your wall!

Both boilers in the CDi Classic System range can be combined with the brand’s own range of high efficiency indirect, solar compatible Greenstore cylinders.

Guarantee

All of Worcester Bosch’s CDi boilers – including the system range – come with the brand’s amazing 10-year no-quibble guarantee when fitted along with the brand’s own cylinder, controls and magnetic central heating filter by an accredited installer. However, you can also get an 8-year guarantee if you opt for just the filter and controls.

Worcester Bosch also has dedicated engineers that are on-hand to attend call-outs, so you know your new system boiler will be subject to the very best of care if needed!

TIP: All Worcester Bosch’s guarantees are subject to the boiler being serviced annually by a Gas Safe registered engineer.

Ideal for

This is the important bit, where you can get a much better idea of which boiler is best suited to your home:

• Greenstar 30CDi Classic System: Best suited to a large 3 – 5 bedroom home with 10 – 14 radiators
• Greenstar 35CDi Classic System: Ideal for a large 4 – 6 bedroom home with 12 – 18 radiators

TIP: Please bear in mind this is meant to be used as a rough guide, and an engineer should always check your home’s heat loss before installing a new boiler, to be sure it will meet your needs.

ERP rating

Good news! Both of the boilers in Worcester Bosch’s Greenstar CDi Classic System range are ERP rated A, for ultimate energy efficiency and reduced carbon emissions.
