Are you looking for a great value combi boiler to heat your three to four-bedroom family home?

Perhaps you’ve already been reading up on some of the best combis on the market right now. In which case, you may already have heard of the Ideal Logic+ C35. It’s true that Ideal combi boilers are becoming more and more popular with homeowners right now.

That’s mainly because the brand is now offering great value deals and slightly more bang for your buck than the likes of Worcester Bosch or Vaillant.

But what exactly can you expect from the Ideal Logic+ C35? I’ve reviewed it in full, below.

Introduction

Much like Baxi, Ideal is a good, strong British name that’s growing in popularity again today. They had a few issues with reliability 10 – 15 years ago, but now they’re back at the top of their game. In fact, they’re offering such great value for money right now, that they’re gaining lots of ground in the market!

Looking at the Logic+ C35, it’s got a high flow rate with fantastic value. In this day and age, where everyone wants faster broadband speeds and internet shopping, people want better flow rates and outputs on boilers. too. They’ll find that if they shop around, they can get a 35kW output boiler from one manufacturer, for the same price as 30kW from another.

That’s why boilers like the Ideal Logic+ C35 are gaining so much attention right now.

So, let’s take a closer look at the outputs and flow rates you can expect from the Ideal Logic+ C35 combi…

Output and flow rates

The Ideal Logic+ C35 combi provides an output of 24.2kW to the central heating, which means it’s perfect for heating an average three to four-bedroom home – or a 2-bedroom apartment with high ceilings. It can happily heat on average around 6 – 10 radiators (maybe 12 at the maximum).

As for the hot water output to your taps, you’ll find this 35kW combi boiler can easily run a bath or shower at 14.5 litres per minute, which means it can happily run a bath or high pressure shower.

TIP: If you feel the flow rate is great, but are unsure the heat output to the radiators is enough, look up the Ideal Vogue 40kW. It gives a whopping 32kW to the heating circuit!

Size and special features

Measuring in at 700mm x 395mm x 278mm, The Ideal Logic+ C35 is actually a compact combi! This means that you can happily fit it in a kitchen cupboard or Edinburgh press. So, if you want to make the most of the space in your home, this boiler could be the one for you.

The C35 also comes with an easy-to-read pressure gauge, a low lift weight, and built-in frost protection.

Guarantee

Now, let’s talk guarantees! The Ideal Logic+ range all come with a 7-year guarantee as standard. However, this is where it pays to find the right accredited installer. Some are offering up to 10 years cover – just check to make sure your chosen installed will definitely give you this!

TIP: Your guarantee will only stay valid if your boiler is serviced annually be a Gas Safe registered engineer.

This boiler is also particularly tempting compared to other brands like Worcester Bosch, as there’s no requirement to pay extra for the brand’s own filter and controls. So, you’re also saving money! It means a lot of my customers are being swayed more towards Ideal.

The brand also offers no-quibble guarantees, so you won’t have to worry about small print or credit card charges. They also have their own dedicated engineers for call-outs, so your new C35 combi will always be in good hands!
