Are you looking for the perfect boiler to meet the demands of your Edinburgh large domestic or ommercial property?

In that case, you may be considering the Worcester Bosch GB162 range, which has a good range of outputs, along with a compact size for versatility and ease of use.

This is a firm favourite with commercial property owners and owners of large domestic properties alike, and with such a reputable brand, it’s a bit of a no-brainer.

But with so many options available, how do you know which one is going to best meet your needs?

The good news is, I’ve done a lot of the groundwork for you, and below I’ve reviewed the entire Worcester Bosch GB162 range – you can thank me later!

Introduction

This excellent range of gas fired, wall-mounted condensing boilers means that providing all the hot water and heating your commercial property or large home needs has never been so easy, with outputs of 50kw, 65kw, 80kw and 100kw!

But what’s so great about this boiler is that it can also be used as part of a ‘multi-boiler cascade system’ that allows you up to a maximum of eight boilers for a total combined output of up to 800kw – now that’s fairly impressive.

Worcester Bosch is a premium brand, and one that I’ve personally worked with for many, many years, and they’ve quite rightly gotten their name for being ultra dependable and using only the highest quality components – that’s why they’ve been voted Which ‘Best Buy’ for six years running).

Output and flow rate

Below, I’ve detailed all you need to know about the GB162’s heating outputs:

  • GB162 50kw: This boiler provides an output of 49.9kw to the heating at 50/30°C (kw), or 46.6kw at 80/60°C (kw) – flow rate N/A
  • GB162 65kw: This boiler supplies an output of 65kw to the heating at 50/30°C (kw), or 60.5kw at 80/60°C (kw) – flow rate N/A
  • GB162 80kw: This boiler will give you an output of 84.5kw to the heating at 50/30°C (kw), or 80kw at 80/60°C (kw) – flow rate N/A

Size and special features

Despite packing a wallop, these boilers have a surprisingly compact size, and measure in at 1414mm x 520mm x 465mm, but bear in mind this is the height with the pump group added. This boiler is idea for when space is limited.

As I mentioned above, the GB162 series can be used as part of a multi boiler cascade system, and can easily work away with up to 7 other boilers which can be sequenced to only come on when required. These boilers also come with a cascade kit that includes everything you need.

The standard guarantee for the Worcester Bosch GB162 range is two years, although you can secure a five year guarantee if installed by a Worcester Bosch accredited installer.
