If you have an old floor-standing boiler in your home, and want to keep your current central heating set-up the same, the Greenstar CDi regular FS CDi range is one of your best options. I’ve installed these in many households, and have very rarely ran into any complications.
Worcester Bosch is a premium brand, and one I’ve become very familiar with over the years. They’re renowned for producing outstanding boilers using only the best quality components, and their boilers really last the distance – probably why they’ve been voted Which ‘Best Buy’ for six years running.
Output and flow rate
Below, you’ll find the central heating outputs you can expect from the FS CDi regular range:
- Greenstar FS 30CDi Regular: Provides a central heating and hot water output of 30kw
- Greenstar FS 42CDi Regular: Supplies a central heating and hot water output of 41kw
Because the FS 30CDi and FS 42CDi are regular boilers and will heat your existing or new hot water tank, you won’t have to worry about your flow rate changing. You will get the same flow rate of hot water as you have at present.
Size and special features
The Greenstar FS CDi regular range are floor standing boilers that measure in at 850mm x 400mm x 600mm. It’s worth noting these boilers can only be fitted as a fully pumped system, so old-fashioned gravity pipe systems will have to be upgraded.
They come with built-in condensate pump and are designed to fit under the kitchen worktop just like a fridge or washing machine. One other thing; if you have an old system with a combined feed and expansion pipe, it may also have to be upgraded for this boiler.
The GreanstR FS CDi regular range can be flued horizontal through and outside wall left right or directly through the back, can also be vertically through the roof. The really great thing though is Worcester have a very special ingenois flexible flue system for this boiler that can fit inside an existing traditional chimney. TIP: All Worcester Bosch’s guarantees are subject to the boiler being serviced annually by a Gas Safe registered engineer.
