Are you looking for a great value combi boiler to heat your average 2 to 3-bedroom home?
If so, you may already have heard of the Ideal Logic+ C30 combi! Ideal combi boilers are becoming more and more popular with my customers, as the brand is now offering long guarantees and slightly more for your money, compared to the likes of Worcester Bosch and Vaillant.
Have I piqued your curiosity? Let’s take a closer look at the Ideal Logic+ C30, so you can see if it’s the boiler for you.
Introduction
Ideal is one of those good old British names that are still going strong today (a bit like Baxi). But one of the reasons they are really making waves right now is that they’re offering their customers better guarantees and more value than ever before.
Along with Baxi, they’ve actually gained the most ground in the marketplace last year, so people are really catching on!
As for the Logic+ C30, it’s one of the most popular boilers I sell. Why? Simply because it provides the ideal outputs for an average-sized family home or apartment. It’s also an award-winning range, and offers more value for money than the Worcester Bosch equivalent.
But let’s take a closer look at what the Logic+ C30 can offer in terms of heating and hot water…
Output and flow rates
With an output of 24.2kW to the central heating, the Ideal Logic+ C30 combi is perfect for heating an average 3-bedroom home – or a 2-bedroom flat with high ceilings. It can happily heat 8 – 12 radiators (depending on size), but around 10 on average.
As for the hot water output, you’ll find this 30kW combi boiler can easily run a bath or shower at 12.4 litres per minute. This flow rate is around average, so it won’t take an age to fill a bath. However, if you’d prefer a faster flow rate, I’d recommend taking a look at the Logic+ 35C.
Size and special features
The Ideal Logic+ C30 comes in at 700mm x 395mm x 278mm, which means this is actually a compact combi and highlights yet another advantage the C30 has against its Worcester Bosch and Baxi equivalents. Because it’s compact, you can easily fit the C30 into a standard-sized kitchen cupboard – which is great if you’re low on space!
This boiler comes with an easy-to-read pressure gauge, a low lift weight, and built-in frost protection.
Guarantee
When it comes to guarantees, the Ideal Logic+ range comes with a standard 7 years. However, some accredited installers (us included) are able to offer their customers a 10-year guarantee, so it’s always best to check if your installer can offer you this.
Ideal offer no-quibble guarantees, so you won’t have to worry about small print or credit card charges. They also have their own dedicated engineers for call-outs, so your new combi will always be in good hands!
