7_Reasons_Worcester_Bosch_Gas_Boilers_Get_the_Superwarm_Stamp_of_Approval.jpg

Confused about which brand of boiler is right for your home? You’re not alone.

There are so many boiler brands out there, it can be tough deciding on the right balance between cost and quality/reliability. Perhaps you’ve heard of Worcester Bosch as a premium brand boiler, but aren’t sure if they’re really worth the price tag.

As an experienced engineer, I’ve personally spent many years fitting and working with Worcester Bosch boilers, which is why I know better than anyone why you’d want to choose one for your home.

So, below, I’ve listed 7 of the biggest reasons why Worcester Bosch gas boilers have the Superwarm stamp of approval.

1. Fantastic reliability and reputation for quality

Worcester Bosch has one of the best reputations on the market right now when it comes to producing quality boilers that can truly last the distance. This is reflected in reviews, as well as Which’s Best Buy (more about that below) and their long-lasting, no-quibble guarantees.

Over the years, the brand has fast become one of my favourites to fit, as they rarely encounter many problems and are fitted with quality components that tend to go on for 10 – 15 years without breaking down.

2. A wide range of options to suit most homes

Another great thing about Worcester Bosch is that they have a boiler to suit just about any home – including a compact range that can easily fit in a kitchen cupboard or Edinburgh press!

Choose from regular, system or combi boilers and you’re guaranteed to find a size and output that’s the perfect fit. Versatility is another of the brand’s strong points.

3. The most comprehensive guarantee on the market

When you choose a Worcester Bosch accredited installer, you can take advantage of one of the, longest, most comprehensive no-quibble guarantees on the market today – so you’ll be covered for up to 10 years if anything goes wrong with your boiler (when fitted with the brand’s own filter and controls).

This is one guarantee I usually recommend to my customers, as unlike some companies, there’s no complicated small print or catches (like unexpected charges to your credit card if you need a call-out). What you see is what you get!

4. Dedicated engineers for call-outs

Worcester Bosch employs dedicated, fully trained engineers who spend all of their time working with the brand and repairing boilers just like yours – so you’ll know your new boiler is in the best hands if anything does happen to go wrong.

Not all boiler companies offer this service, and you’ll find some use a separate agent and local contractors to cover the warranty and call-out side of things, so you never know how familiar they’ll be with your particular brand or model of boiler.

5. Readily available parts made in the UK

Although originally a British company, Worcester were taken over by German company Bosch, and are now engineered in Germany with a UK manufacturing plant.

Since Worcester Bosch boilers and components are manufactured here in Britain, parts are readily available and because of this, can be sourced relatively cheaply – an important point just in case your boiler were to break down and need a replacement part after your guarantee had run out.

6. Package deals available

Worcester Bosch recommend fitting their gas boilers with the brand’s own magnetic central heating filter and controls, to prolong the life of your boiler. These are available as a package and allow your boiler to be covered under guarantee for up to 10 years!

7. Which’s ‘Best Buy’

Finally, why just take my word for it? Worcester Bosch have now voted Which’s ‘Best Buy’ for six years’ running, meaning they’re also a favourite with consumers AND engineers! You can’t really argue with that.

Conclusion

I hope you’ve enjoyed reading, and by now you should have a better idea of why a Worcester Bosch gas boiler might just be worth it for your home. However, I’ve also reviewed other brands on my blog, including Baxi, Glow-worm and Vaillant boilers (along with individual model reviews).
